“If it’s done in love, it will work.” I truly believe that! I’ve been in the game for 17 years. I got started on a whim by pitching a marketing idea to AMEX that I ended up getting hired to manage. And after that, my little brain never stopped.
Early on, I spent lots of time working in the food industry – strategizing resturant openings with James Beard & Michelin rated chefs to organizing media previews with The New York Times, Wall St. Journal, New York Magazine and some other big pubs. In time, I was also launching retail shops, salons, spirit brands, start ups and working with brands like Google, Fox, Warner Brothers and Equinox. I am grateful and truly love what I do.
I LOVE listening to people’s vision and uncovering key characteristics both visually and conceptually that tell their unique story. Long ago, I noticed that most brands were diving head first into PR but lacked any kind of cohesive branding or identity. Most often, their websites were lacking, the content was poorly executed and there was no brand consistency. I knew how essential great branding was for success, so rather than just executing their PR needs, my partnerships with clients started with building an impactful brand message. This message was a way to create a memorable experience for their consumers that would work in tandem with PR. I’ve had the pleasure of helping clients find their untold story and share it in a way that hooks consumers and media.
In my work, I combine business strategy, marketing, publicity, and creative thinking to develop meaningful and authentic brands that don’t just co-exist, they thrive. My team and I don’t care about what’s cool or in; we craft a message that connects and resonates with the consumer. I’ve seen firsthand how a client’s story elevates a company from a product to a brand; how it can rescue a business from the trenches of an identity crisis, and move the indifferents to full-fledged fans. After that, clients have a much better chance of hooking the media.
The work we do sets us apart from other firms and is truly a labor of love.
